Birthday shout out to my fabulous SIL Anita, today is her 50th birthday!

Happy Birthday Anita! WooHoo!

It's Friday. The start of another busy weekend of nonstop gotta get and go fun!

Started out right. Yep.

My boy and his best buddy ran over to me for the birthday twist this morning at assembly! I'm just gonna go ahead and keep telling myself he came over cause he wanted to shake it with his momma. And not set me up to beg and plead to let his buddy come over, yeah that couldn't have been it...

My sweet Natalie performed with her class this morning the cutest little baby bumble bee song and ea. kiddo had a cute bee fact. The girl has talked non-stop for 2 weeks about it. And she had her line down! Wish I had a video camera to catch it, hint hint Daddy!

I am so proud of my little bumblebee's performance, she did great! And it was hilarious, pretty sure I was giggling a wee bit louder than all the other parents too!

The girl hates burgers, in fact all things beef. Its just not Texan!

The boy loves all things beef and is a true carnivore. Thank goodness.

Fun fact about me, I hate raw cookie dough! I like despise it... It is gross! I gag when friends order it! Or raid the dough while baking perfectly baked cookies. I love a cookie slightly crispy on the outside and gooey middle! Served with or with out vanilla ice cream. So why would you mess with a perfectly good thing. Yep, I know.

And the Mr. Well he loves cookie dough ice cream. Last night we hit up Dippin' Dave's a new ice cream joint in Forney. I totally held up the line, they have like 36 flavors of Blue Bell to choose from. Quite impressive!

I finally settled on pecan praline, and quickly regretted it! Brad's stupid cookie dough ice cream was yelling at me to try it!

I did. And...

I'm a fan. Barely got 2 bites and couldn't stop thinking about the chewy raw delish dough part.

So, tonight I picked up some Krazy Kookie Dough, I am addicted! It was perfect. Cake batter ice cream with sugar cookie dough. So light and sweet.

Maybe I'll get a cookie dough DQ blizzard next!

Field Trip n

Today was my sweet Natalie's first grade field trip. It was held at our community park, love that.

We saw a chinchilla, hairless guinea pig I think, it was a hairless mammal nonetheless. A tarantula, albino bunny, tortoise a lizard and a snake.

We picnicked with her best buds.

We painted, played games and blew bubbles.

I did not mention Ryan like at all. Even though I was secretly scoping out every blonde haired boy in first grade wondering if that was indeed the boy that has my sweet girl all boy crazy!

She held my hand a lot, wanted me sitting right next to her even though all the other parents weren't. And I loved every crazy minute of it. Wishing she'd stop growing up so dang quick!

Tonight we went to an FC Dallas game in Frisco, Texas. This is our second game, we hadn't planned it but it sure was a nice surprise and the tickets are so very appreciated from my favorite season ticket holder. It's a good hours drive and $10 in tolls and so worth it. The weather was fabulous too, love me some spring weather in Texas. Warm sunshiny days and cool evenings. We even hit up In N Out Burger on our way home. Again, another second visit, this time we got to share it with our kiddo's. Big fans of both they are!

We are Spring Break'n it this week and out late on a Thursday night. Loving every minute of it.
